Peruvian Rainforest Workshop for Teachers

K-12 teachers and environmental educators are eligible to apply for a $1,000 scholarship to help offset the cost of an Amazon rainforest workshop in Peru, June 29–July 8, 2012. The workshop is organized by Environmental Expeditions. Participants will join group leader Donna Krabill from the Norfolk Botanical Garden, biologist Steve Madigosky from Widener University, and entomologist Randy Morgan from the Cincinnati Zoo. Land cost is $1,850 ($850 for scholarship recipients), plus air. An optional Machu Picchu trip is also offered. Academic credit is available. Scholarship applications are due by March 8.
